Fingerless Gloves in Noro Kureyon

Cabled Noro Kureyon Fingerless Gloves
I’ve been hard at work on the Casbah baby sweater, and will post pics as soon as it starts to take shape. Having become accustomed to working with sock yarn over the last couple of weeks, the worsted weight Noro Kureyon yarn that I used in this project seemed to work up extremely quickly! This was my first experience working with Noro. I ordered two skeins for this project because I’d intended to match up the stripes by working each glove from its own ball. But what luck! The first glove’s wrist ended at a point in the yarn just before the color changes to the color I’d cast on with. Better still, the next color in line matches the second color from the first glove.

Lucky Noro KUreyon Color Matching
Rather than doing a lot of cutting and splicing to get the stripes to match perfectly, I think I’m going to take this great opportunity offered by the luck of the Noro draw and simply start the second glove from the same ball of yarn. I don’t expect the colors to continue to match up after the first two, but we’ll see how it evolves. I’ll report back after completing the second glove.
For now, here’s a peek of the first glove in action:

Beautiful colors like rainbow, i love this pattern!
